Prof. Yousef Hojjat is Professor of Manufacturing engineering, at the faculty of mechanical engineering. He holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University and a Master degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology (Japan) and a PhD in Precision Machinery from University of Tokyo (Japan).

Previous professional and administrative positions held by Prof. Hojjat are:

Deputy Minister of Industries; Deputy Minister of Cooperation; Head of Arak University of Technology; Deputy of the Iranian Department of Environment; CEO of Raja Passenger Trains Company; CEO of Tehran Municipality Transport and Traffic Organization and Science counselor of Ministry of Science and Technology in East Asia (China, Japan and Korea).
